Telegram Guides

Telegram is a cloud-based messaging app with large public channels, groups, bots and easy sign-ups, which makes it popular with young people. Its main risks are fake job and "easy money" offers, scam bots and impersonation accounts, malicious links in groups, and strangers contacting teens through public groups or phone-number discovery. Teens can reduce these risks by turning on two-step verification, limiting who can see their phone number or add them to groups, and never sharing codes, passwords or payment details with unknown contacts.
